Job Description:

• Monitor and manage all areas of GHIALs Terminal environment on a shift rotation basis. Anticipate problems and put in place contingencies where necessary.
• Liaise closely with the various GHIAL departments and other third party service providers.
• Assist the Customer Services and Facilities Managers to maintain the target service levels within the terminal operations and record and report deficiencies in service levels.
• Understand the complexities of the terminal environment ensuring information which can influence the passenger experience is communicated effectively, accurately with other stakeholders.
• To ensure that passenger services is appropriately manned and bring to the attention of the Terminal Manager any short fall that may occur.
• Specific Accountabilities
• Take an active role in Emergency Planning including Terminal Evacuation and Emergency Plan.
• Receive and investigate complaints from staff, passengers and other companies operating within the terminal, acting promptly to remedy or taking preventive action to maintain required standards of customer care.
• Provide face to face passenger interaction and assist passengers transition in and out of the airport facility. Including assistance for both able bodied and special needs passengers.
• The role will facilitate the monitoring of information and CUSS Kiosks, ensuring all defects reported and accounted for, so to ensure the continuous provision of accurate and up to information and provide assistance to the customers as required.
• To support the Terminal Manager in the application of their duties within the Terminal and highlight any specific information which may support the requirement for operational support and or response as is necessary.
• Ensure that service levels within the terminal environment are being maintained consistently.
